Built for BMW's flagship store on Park Lane in London, this project was directed by us for UeBERSEE, Inc. and was installed in 2012 to coincide with London hosting the Olympics. The video shows the various modes of animation achieved on the liquid crystal privacy glass across the 180' facade. For installed photos see:

The dynamic facade consists of 20 programmable LCD glass panels distributed across the 180 feet wide facade of the prominent Park Lane building. Dynamic impulses of light and opacity sweep across the entire length of the building, visualizing the phenomenon of speed with relevance to the BMW brand. The varying levels of opacity reveal and partially hide the vehicles on display, setting them virtually into motion and bringing the facade to life both in daytime and at night.
